Got a hull and Cab separately on eBay and decided to build cargo ship as cheaply as possible

Strips of plastic to build up the hull and deck cut to shape

2 x drill motors fitted

Starting to look like a ship

Derrick step and fittings made from plastic tube and card. Tube will be cut to size before final assembly

As previously stated this is a budget build so old washers used for anchor hawse's.
Anchor not yet fixed as will need to paint hull

Hull painted, now awaiting it to harden before adding white stripe on water line

Used old paint sampler onto the wooden deck. Will see how it dries wherever it stays that colour

Not needing speed so going to use a couple of 6v lead acid batteries. Placed them into hull to take into account for ballast needs

Waterline added. Tested in bath now that ballast installed. Sits well s can proceed with fitting deck to hull
