HiDG.
As Nick lives on the Wirral I would guess that they sail on the Boating Lake in Crosby Coastal Park. See Maps link.
Sadly the Ribble club website seems to have disappeared ☹️
Makes you wonder if they still exist!
Cheers, Doug😎

Hi Nick,
K80 is of course our beloved (of Revell fame or notoriety depending on how much agro you had with her construction☹️🤕!) Flower class corvette HMS Bluebell.
G58 was a Clemens class destroyer USS Swasey DD273.
Transferred to the RN, under the Destroyers for Bases swindle🙄, as Town class Destroyer HMS Rockingham.
U49 was a Modified Black Swan-class sloop of the Royal Navy, HMS Pheasant.
K327 was a River class Frigate HMCS Stormont, Built in 1943 for the Royal Canadian Navy.
She has had a colourful and eventful life with several conversions and refits.
She is still afloat as a Luxury Yacht!
Cheers, Doug😎

I think the LCM is the Speedline Models kit from a while back. The Ribble club contact posted here a couple of weeks ago.

Ron, the model behind the car ferry is either an armed drifter or an armed trawler. The LCM6 is, I think, the Speedline Models (now gone as far as I know) offering...

The 1/16 scale landing craft looks very good - as do the trucks on the bridge - were they radio controlled as well?
Never too old to learn

I posted an email to the Cuppoll show contact from 2024 asking for a contact in the Ribble group. The website for the Ribble club has been taken down.

If I get a response I will let you know.

Which model is only partially visible behind the car ferry?

Hi Ron, there was no one near the warships to "interrogate" so the only info I have ia what was on the boat stands. There was a Black Swan sloop, a Castle Class Frigate, a Flower Class corvette and a a Town Class Destroyer...

I was at Crosby too, great variety of models. The mulberry was the work of one man whose father had been there. he had been the driver of one of the trucks. I had an interesting chat with him, sorry but I didn't get his name.

Impressive work from some experienced people. Really like the various WWII vessels in photo 7. Were these models completed by one person? Did you happen to catch the name?

Just got back from Crosby, the model show was held in a rather nice old church. It was well attended with a variety of modelling disciplines on show, the 1/16 scale Mulberry Harbour display was particularly impressive. And of course, I couldn't help myself and ended up with another kit to add to the pile.
