New Motor

New prop

Change brings challenges and afterwards hopefully everything works better than before.

The old motor would overheat and burn the fingers. I tried multiple props and could control the heat if run at half throttle.

I came across a good deal on better motors and decided to change it out.

Took it for a spin tonight and afterwards it was as cool as a cucumber. Super!

My Saint Pierre Dory has improved lights

Continuing to work with those LED lights, I tried snipping several from a line of lights that are waterproof.

Once scrapping the coating off, the positive and negative wires were identified and marked.

Using three of these micro lights, they were installed to the roof of the wheelhouse, adding an amber coating, a 470R in the line, it looks much better.

The small spotlight was replaced with a taller better beam.

Keeping the tiny nav lights on a pair of AA batteries which work very well. The LED lights are wired in to use the BEC.
